Year 12

From here, everything we send you is written for Year 12.

Year 12 is the year the jump catches people out. A-Level stops rewarding approximation the way GCSE often did, and a student who understands the idea but writes it in the wrong language starts losing marks they were used to getting.

You will hear from us about closing that gap in the Autumn term, while there is still room to do it calmly, rather than discovering it in the first set of mocks.

  • Guidance written for the first A-Level year
  • The specific gaps that open between GCSE and A-Level
  • Nothing aimed at a different year group
